I know that this is old, but jeez, it’s great.

This is a seedling for what could be a great video. It was a little plain, I don’t understand why it was intercut with a bunch of stock footage (or that bear illustration?!?), and I don’t see the need for the karaoke. Good premise, but lackluster execution.

A recent study says students tend to judge people based on their addresses. For example, people who used words like “little,” “sweet,” or “baby,” combined with cute animal names like “mousy” or “bunny” — or perhaps littletinyfish? — the students said agreeable and neurotic. On the other hand words like “King” or “The Best” were linked to narcissism. Even more interesting: these judgements tended to be right in five of the six personality characteristics they measured.

Stickers appraise mundane objects in Appleton.: Rob Neilson, a Lawrence assistant professor of art, wouldn’t say whether his department had anything to do with the stickers. But he did say the dots were serving a fundamental role in art - to instigate thoughtful discussion of profound and provocative ideas. “This particular piece of guerrilla art seems to have accomplished this lofty goal brilliantly,” Neilson said. He said he couldn’t say who the ‘artists’ might be “but I will tell you I think this is a smart and fun piece of public art.”
